CCR Summit & ICTS 2011 The annual RB&W Public Safety & Security Summit held on 5 & 6 October in Rolduc, Kerkrade
The rapidly changing society demands adjustments in both Public Safety & Security governance and operations against the background of reduced budgets. As the challenges we face evolve, so too does the need for police, fire, ambulance and society as a whole to respond simultaneously.
400+ professionals in Public Safety & Security participated in the debate regarding these issues and to explore the ways of maximising the results of the collaborative efforts in these challenges during the annual CCR Summit & ICTS 2011.
The programme addressed current and future developments presented by keynote speakers from the Netherlands, South Africa, the United Kingdom, Finland, Sweden, Austria and Germany. Chairman of the CCR Summit & ICTS 2011 was Henk Geveke, Director TNO Defence & Security. Onno Hoes, Mayor of Maastricht opened this year’s summit.
